Vintage 1985 Custom Shop Flying V Bass in Alpine White. We have researched to the best of our ability and can not find or have heard of a any Flying V Bass made in the Gibson Custom Shop built before this one. If you add this to your collection you will own a one-of-a-kind Gibson Custom Shop Model.

All original including Gibson Embossed Logo Bass pickups, Flying V Bass case, brass nut, bound fingerboard and Custom Shop Logo on back of headstock.  

This bass looks like it was not played and likely bought for a collection. Virtually no play wear, no belt buckle marks. The only thing keeping this from being listed as Mint is the finish reacting with something on the back, neck and sides. Maybe something laid against the Bass or from something in the case at some point. That is our best guess but we have seen this on other Gibson guitars from this period. Fortunately it is on the back and not the front!
